INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY or COUPLE'S MANDALA

The word “mandala” loosely translated from Indian Sanskrit means "circle”. A mandala is more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness, and can be seen as a model for the organizational structure of life itself, a diagram that reminds us of our relation to the infinite, to ourselves and to the world around us.
In our culture a mandala can be used to refer to the personal world in which one lives, or the activities and interests in which one engages.
A mandala can be a fun and enlightening experience! Creating a family or couple's mandala can be an opportunity to discover the importance of both individuality and unity within the family, to learn how family members can join together for a common purpose, to appreciate what everyone has to offer and recognize that each person is an important part of the whole.
